NOTICE OF JOB OPPORTUNITY
TITLE: Lead Business Intelligence Developer (J. Crew Group, LLC)
LOCATION: New York, NY (Remote work is permitted from any location in the U.S.)
DUTIES: Design, develop and implement J. Crew’s Analytics and Business Intelligence initiatives and operations, driving the enterprise towards a data first culture. Deploy and manage a power BI platform for all J. Crew Brands. Implement best practices for security, development, and capacity. Create reports, dashboards, visualizations and KPIs. Enable large datasets and data volumes. Provide technical support and troubleshooting of Power BI solutions, including investigation of data issues and data validation. Provide mentoring and training of Power BI functions to business customers including Customer Insights, Merchandising and Allocation. EOE
REQTS: Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered, as an Applications Developer, Software Engineer, or a related position. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field plus seven (7) years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the position offered, as an Applications Developer, Software Engineer, or a related position. Must have five (5) years (or seven [7] years in the alternative with a Bachelor’s) of experience with all of the following: Developing Power BI Reports, dashboards, and workspaces for web and mobile use; Performing data modeling with DAX language; Configuring tenants and performing tenant administration using admin APIs; Standing up and administering Power BI, Qlik View and Qlik Sense environments as product administrator; Designing and developing data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines from multiple sources for BI solutions; Developing interactive reports, dashboards and visualizations for retail business partners; Optimizing solution performance and ensuring data integrity within BI environments; Conducting code reviews and establishing standards and best practices; Writing and understanding complex SQL queries and utilizing optimization techniques to improve query performance; Working with retail teams to identify insight requirements and translate into technical specifications; Managing citizen developers and data governance. Must possess the following certification: Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst Associate.
SALARY: $163,238 - $181,200 per year
HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
