The duties and responsibilities that channel marketing specialists perform in this capacity include, but are not limited to:

  • Set channel program goals and develop execution activities to achieve these goals, monitoring, recording and analyzing ROI
  • Develop positive working relationship with channel partners to generate loyalty.
  • Utilize data and channel insights to provide recommendations to drive category distribution and share of segment
  • Develop incentive plans for the various channels, including channel loyalty programs, customer segmentation plans, loyalty/volume price stratification to promote channel growth and augment share of wallet.
  • Evaluating and improving existing channel marketing strategies.
  • Develop a keen understanding of partner funding requirements; execute approved programs and ensure compliance.
  • Implement channel campaigns in order to expand market share and pursue growth targets
  • Deploying channel marketing strategies in collaboration with the marketing team, senior managers, and other departments.
  • Keep up to date the channel with the new products and enhancements.
  • Monitor and manage expenses within allotted marketing budget.
  • Plan and support product launch events, sales training, and other marketing events
  • Provide marketing guides, performing voice of customer research and reporting results and make recommendations for future marketing activities.
  • Develop channel performance metrics to quantify channel effectiveness and classification according to the channel levels policy.
  • Develop and implement an annual process for channel rationalization in order to promote focus and channel loyalty.
  • Consistently work with Marcom to effectively promote and advertise brands

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A, Marketing, Economics or Engineering);
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in channel managemenet marketing or trade marketing role, i.e: channel program;
  • Available to travel locally and internationally (30% to 50% of the time)
  • Availabilityfor travelling LATAM region;
  • Availability to work in a hybrid way in the office located in the Vila Olimpia/SP region;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Spanish and Portuguese
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google for Work and Salesforce.com

Other Requirements

  • Sales experience is a plus.
  • Understanding Fire Industry is a plus.
  • Understanding of the channel ecosystem, working knowledge of the fundamentals of technology preferred
  • Ability to translate technology features into marketing propositions that result in sales
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently or collaboratively
  • Ability to build rapport with customers
  • Negotiation skills
  • Organization and priority setting skills and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to take actions and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Become a team player and builder, receptive to ideas from others. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to interact successfully with all levels of management as well as a diverse work force.
