The Securities Services business in Australia continues to invest heavily in its platform with a focus, led by the Product Development team, delivery of Project Endeavour. Australia specific enhancements to the global WINS (InvestOne) platform to enable the migration of the Australia Fund Services clients from HiPort, as well as Asian clients from legacy WINS Hong Kong over the next 2 years.

As a Business Analyst, you will be reporting into a Project Manager within the Product Development team, you will join a team of project managers and business analysts responsible for the execution of the functional workstreams within Project Endeavour. 

You will support the client transition journey by leading the support for reporting transition activities to the global platform. Individual work items range from the development of the core reporting package, to analysis and development of reports and data feeds specific to each client migration tranche.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead the engagement of assigned clients or vendors to enable the clients integration transition as part of project Endeavour
  • Identify the integration transition scope, analysis of requirements, and managing reporting and processes to align to product standards
  • Design, configure and test accounting and unit pricing reports using global reporting platforms whilst also supporting standardisation and strategic project outcomes. 
  • Support business requirements and design of the Australian technology solutions
  • Liaison with the technology teams throughout the build phase to help resolve development issues
  • Liaison with other project workstreams to ensure solutions are compatible with other parallel developments within Project Endeavour
  • Change Management including creation of the implementation plan, coordination of implementation activities including user access, user guides, training manuals, delivery of training, control updates and sign offs
  • Contribute to project management activities including the project plan, risk management, resource planning and communication of progress
  • Input details to workstream and program reporting for the project board and the Endeavour program reporting

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Business Knowledge and Expertise – experience of the fund services industry
  • Project Delivery Experience – experience working within project management disciplines such as Agile
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Project, Visio, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to perform multiple roles across business analysis and project management
  • Proven ability to liaise directly with clients to implement solutions and to take clients on a transition journey
  • Ability to manage a team, both direct and virtual, to execute projects
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and manage risks and issues
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and partners to achieve project objectives
  • Ability to manage multiple obligations at once and turn around project deliverables under tight timelines.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Prior experience with business intelligence platforms (Cognos, Tableau, Alteryx, etc) is preferred
  • Application knowledge of InvestOne, HiPort and JPM proprietary reporting tools would be a strong advantage
  • Data mapping and transformation experience would be a strong advantage
