Supply Chain & Demand Planning Manager

(Taguig, Philippines)

Position Overview

Reporting to the Operations Director, this role is to manage demand and supply planning, ensuring maximum customer service at the lowest possible overall cost to the business. Contribute actively as a member of SCM team in order to achieve the company’s objectives.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Production Planning
  2. Create Master Build plan for production that will ensure that Local Finished goods Inventory is at the optimum level to support Demand.
  3. Create Local Build Plan for LRP based on next year Sales Budget.
  4. Create a weekly production schedule that remains in effect and represent the true production demand
  5. Support in Production execution by providing smooth plan to meet the output at the highest level
  6. Manage the order of international and local RM and FG for production manufacturing and trading sales
  7. Supply Materials Planning
  8. Provide material plan to ensures an optimum Inventory level of RM and Finish goods Inventory will be maintained.
  9. Measure the amount of inventory needed expressed in days of production for ingredient and packaging materials
  10. Measure the inventory level which will be used for future demand
  11. Provide the production team a final production scheduled and publish as final schedule for production to follow
  12. Demand Planning
  13. Leads Sales & Operation Planning.
  14. Measure of how well forecasts project actual demand
  15. Coordinates with Sales Team regarding Increase or Decrease in Demand showing the implication on Supply.
  16. Ensure forecast accuracy is within the desirable output based on actual sales
  17. Importation
  18. Performs Demand and Supply Plan for Imported goods from international partners
  19. Performs Importation of Finished Goods & Raw Materials.
  20. Monitors Importation from outbound to inbound.
  21. Facilitate Import Regulatory requirements.
  22. Facilitate all matters pertaining to importation.
  23. SAP Management
  24. Accountable for Material Master Data update in MRP system including IBP and other digital platform
  25. Manage Production Version & Master Recipe for Production & Planning use.
  26. Assist in Trouble shooting for SAP in Production Planning & Execution Domain.
  27. Product Management
  28. Assist in the successful launching of New Product, by supporting BTR by supply and production plan.
  29. Warehouse & Logistics
  30. Manage the amount of warehouse space that is utilized at the manufacturing plants and finished good for sales
  31. Manage the material handling capacity used on daily basis by type of equipment
  32. Ensure the total productivity of warehouse operations
  33. Responsible to warehouse absolute inventory accuracy
  34. Responsible for the operational accuracy of the operations in the warehouse such as picking
  35. Responsible for transport and loading accuracy ensure delivery accuracy is obtained
  36. Manage operations expenses of warehouse and logistics operations
  37. Other Tasks
  38. Promote and organize Continuous Improvement Team
  39. Contribute to cost saving initiatives
  40. Other task as immediate superior seen needed for the operations

Profile

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College in Engineering preferably Industrial focus on Logistic/Supply Chain 
  • Required skill(s): MS Office Application
  • Minimum 5years experience in a similar position, preferably in an international environment
  • Experience across multiple supply chain competencies
  • SAP user and or user of any similar MRP tools
  • Demonstrate ability to use ERP systems within a production environment
  • Experience in Sales and Operations / IBP planning
  • Experience in Inventory Management
  • Importation and Brokerage experience is an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good problem-solving abilities
  • With training on GMP, HACCP, FSSC, Leadership or any management training
