In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, develop an effective service management architecture and strategy for each of the service management practice areas, ensuring that policies weigh velocity with compliance, and are reflected in the ServiceNow configuration and, and that practices are sufficiently documented
  • Establish a metrics framework using analytics capabilities focusing on automated, real-time dashboards based on defined measures, metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
  • Define, build and maintain scorecards across on assigned portfolio and drive corrective action: calls, service levels, stability, requests, problems, etc.
  • Partner with network, database, compute and application teams to drive ITIL processes
  • Manage execution of disaster recovery, business continuity processes and events
  • Enforce the organization’s KPIs and SLAs and ensure communication, understanding, and implementation by all related cross-functional teams and team members
  • Ensure employee performance is in line with company standards, deliver performance evaluations and provide coaching and mentoring that fosters employee satisfaction and growth.
  • Drive a blameless culture of technical excellence via the participation and/or facilitation of blameless postmortem activities positioned to accelerate the continuous improvement cycle
  • Act as a change agent in a knowledge centric organization by contributing to the improvement of tools and processes that enable a streamlined, efficient, and effective customer support environment
  • Ensure that the depth and breadth of the team’s technical skills are maintained, enhanced, and remain up to date with industry trends and Wells Fargo’s technology strategy

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in creating Grafana "Single Pane of Glass" views.
  • In depth experience in integrating Grafana with plugins from Splunk, App Dynamics APM, Dynatrace APM, Elastic APM, MongoDB, OracleDB, DB2 and ServiceNow.
  • Demonstrated experience in setting up and configuring Grafana/ Prometheus and extensive experience in data visualization techniques using Grafana.
  • In-depth understanding of the Open Telemetry Framework and experience in scaling observability.
  • Experience in alert correlation and AIOPs concepts, Big Panda experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Automation platforms like Ansible and Terraform is preferred
  • 8+ years of Middleware application and web server experience (IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic, Tomcat application server, Apache web server, Nginx)
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with test-driven development (TDD), software artisanship, and leading code reviews, including standards development, source control management, build processes, testing cycles, and operational readiness
  • 5+ years of experience with declarative engineering structures (K8s, manifests, YAML, JSON)
  • 5+ years of experience with design patterns development and resiliency/reliability engineering for new and existing systems
  • 5+ years working closely with Middleware engineers, application architects, application development teams, and infrastructure hosting teams
  • 5+ years of Unix/Linux operating system administration with shell scripting proficiency
  • 5+ years of accomplishment in meeting or exceeding metrics/quotas/KPIs and receiving positive customer feedback.
  • 4+ years of proven experience with scripting languages (Python, Shell/Bash, JavaScript)
  • 4+ years of experience with deployment automation tools (Git, Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins)
  • 6+ years of network, compute, database infrastructure, IT operations
  • 3+ years of scripting and task automation (Python, JSON, YAML)
  • 3+ years of Ansible playbook development
  • Experience with ServiceNow/JIRA or similar customer and issue tracking system
  • Experience engineering of distributed systems, with a focus on high-availability architectures
  • Understanding of the software life cycle and implementation process
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex technical issues clearly and concisely to a general audience
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on managing to business outcomes through collaboration with multiple internal and external parties.
  • Ability to manage numerous projects and activities simultaneously, ensuring the correct priorities are assigned and initiatives are completed within resource constraints.
  • REST API development
  • GIT usage, CICD build/pipeline management
