Job Opening Summary

Under the direction of the Value Analysis Facilitator, organize and coordinate the Value Analysis and Strategic Sourcing data management activities. Works closely with purchasing, contracting, and strategic sourcing staff. Responsible for data mining and collection for Value Analysis and Strategic Sourcing program decisions. This position leads the analytics process for Supply Chain Services in support of the organization’s supply expense and cost reduction efforts.

Job Opening Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree

Specific course work: Information Systems Management and/or Health Science/Care Administration

Associates Degree accepted with a minimum of 5 years extensive data analysis experience

Necessary Skills:

1. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

2. Computer skills: MS Access, Excel, Word and Power Point. Advanced proficiency with Excel, (complex formulas, pivot tables, lookup functions, charts/graphs, conditional formatting, etc.)

3. Ability to develop and manage Excel-based models and dashboards to monitor and evaluate patterns, costs and trends, and present findings.

4. Adept at managing and modifying queries for data extraction.

5. Ability to communicate with the medical and hospital personnel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required Experience:

1-2 years data aggregation and display

Preferred Experience:

Previous Supply Chain experience and/or PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management.
