We are looking for a Regional Account Manager in southeastern UK, who will proactively drive sales and support our sales processes.

You will be responsible for the development of your region and your customer base. You will identify and focus on the development of existing and new customers with high potential. This will be done both directly with the customers as well as together with partners.

Your Responsibilities

  • Securing the growth of the Tektronix/Keithley business in southeastern UK and gaining market share,
  • Building strong relationships with existing and new customers, promoting distribution and regional sales activities through customer visits, analyzing new avenues for further market development and customer penetration,
  • Providing sales presentations and onsite product demonstration for all Tektronix/Keithley product lines, supported by field application engineers, to technically qualify customers' needs,
  • Collaborate with other Regional Account Managers, Distribution Account Managers, Application Engineers, Marketing and other key stakeholders to regularly deploy and utilize resources to achieve excellence in supporting customers and winning new business.
  • Supporting focus accounts that can drive Tektronix/Keithley's growth in the area of responsibility, as well as determining the best customer engagement model to become a trusted advisor.
  • Contribute to revenue guidance and robust growth of customer opportunity funnel, 
  • Manage and use our CRM tool to provide a best-in-class customer management experience,
  • Respecting and following the company's values and acting in accordance with them.
  • At least 3 years of experience as an Account Manager, ideally in Test & Measurement – as well as proven experience in Electronic engineering, design or quality management.
  • Technical qualification in electrical engineering/physics or similar,
  • Good internet/PC skills to find new customers,
  • Understanding of test and measurement equipment,
  • Ability to translate technical product information into strong customer value propositions.
  • Customer-oriented attitude
  • Autonomous, proactive, business-savvy and results-oriented mindset
  • Strong team player with the ability to work successfully in a multicultural organization and present effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Preferable based in southeastern UK
