Overview

Peer Tutors in the Occupational Therapy Program will meet with individual or small groups of students for tutoring on the specified topic (typically Gross Anatomy, Physiology, Neuroanatomy, others with OT Chairperson’s approval)

Responsibilities

  • Schedule tutoring time with students.
  • Tutor students.
  • Submit time sheets.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Enrolled in the Occupational Therapy Program at Touro College (students in other Touro OT Programs may be considered with the OT Chairperson’s approval)
  • Successful Completion of the course tutoring. Receipt of a grade of A or higher in the course preferred.

Preferred:

  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Alpha Eta or Alpha Pi member.

Maximum Salary

USD $60.00/Hr.

Minimum Salary

USD $20.00/Hr.
