Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Director of Communications & Relationship Lead - Corporate Services.
In this role, the successful candidate will spearhead the communications efforts for the Real Estate, Development & Facilities (RED+F), Finance, Medical Center Information Technology (MCIT), and Development / Alumni Affairs departments. This high-visibility role will serve as the Primary Relationship Lead for these departments, acting as a trusted advisor who works with the department leaders to shape communications initiatives that advance their strategy, engage stakeholders, and align with NYULHs institutional goals.
Reporting directly to the Head of Enterprise Communications, you will play a critical role in shaping the Enterprise Communications strategy for NYULH while advancing the mission and objectives of the RED+F, Finance, MCIT, and Development / Alumni Affairs departments.

Manage the allocated budget and operational forecasts for the Communications & Relations efforts specifically for the RED+F, Finance, MCIT, and Development / Alumni Affairs departments, working with the Chief of Staff
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a 9+ years of experience leading a corporate communications function in a highly regulated industry
3+ years of management experience leading effective teams
Accomplished writer, editor, and communicator; guides others with the authority to influence both individuals and outcomes
Adept at building rapport and exhibiting strong interpersonal skills, with an established track record of cultivating relationships with executive leadership
Experience creating and managing thought leadership initiatives
Entrepreneurial mindset and a bias towards testing and learning
Demonstrated orientation towards client service
Exceptional leadership skills, demonstrating the ability to influence, teach, inspire, motivate, and collaborate effectively
Proven ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed environment
Experience in healthcare clinical and operational domain
Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in communications, public relations, or related field
Experience working with RED+F, Finance, MCIT, and/or Development / Alumni Affairs departments

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $138,098.48 - $189,874.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
