The Senior Software Development Engineer is accountable for designing, developing, and testing software systems, modules, or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools. Incumbents within this job are accountable for detailed design for certain modules/sub-systems, doing prototype for multi-vendor infrastructure, and showcasing it internally or externally to clients. Design and develop functionality in a micro-services environment working with APIs, telemetry data, and running ML/AI algorithms on it, working with both structured and unstructured data.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop solutions and functionality that drives the growth of business
  • Responsible for writing and testing code
  • Accountable for execution of automated testing
  • Contribute to software deployment
  • Work across multiple teams to deliver software components while working in collaboration with the product team
  • Design and integrate solutions through automation and coding, using 3rd party software
  • Run with and action PMRs with IBM
  • Run with Changes required based on Journey squad changes.
  • Manage and ensure the stability of the environment.
  • Have Good understanding the impact of your code to hardware and network for better-performing solutions.
  • Consult on complex problems arising during development, implementation, post implementation and operational cycle.
  • Participate in problem-solving through severity processes to ensure system availability.

Qualifications

  • IT-related Diploma or Degree
  • At least 10+ years’ experience with BPM product
  • Landed couple of projects into a production environment. (Within a banking industry will be advantageous)
  • Dealt with technical platforms as well as development-related problems.
  • Good knowledge of BPM/BAW as a product
  • Good Knowledge of BPM code and ability to code solutions using BPM.
  • Java coding language and ability to code will be advantageous.
