Job Summary:

The System Program Director, Clinical Product Marketing is passionate about helping patients select health care plan options that deliver the best clinical outcomes. This role will require a skilled product and brand-builder with insatiable curiosity and innovative thinking that connects strategy to unique product differentiators. You will proactively guide, manage and develop a new Medicare Advantage care offering for existing and potential patients, and will partner with clinical leaders to position our providers as key subject matter experts and resources for patients and communities. You will work with a talented team of operations and clinical leaders to design, develop and launch a truly differentiated Medicare Advantage product. You will participate and lead aspects of the ongoing evaluation, impact assessment, and product enhancement structure.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this position will collaborate closely with the Chief Clinical Officer, Senior Vice President Clinically Integrated Network, Vice President Payer Relations and senior leaders in both marketing, the Clinically Integrated Network, and Clinical leadership. Indirect influence of and collaboration with other key organizational leaders is also necessary for success and impact in this position.

This is a highly cross-functional role requiring strategic brand-building, marketing and communication skills and tactical execution. It requires someone who is insights-driven with the ability to translate input and ideas into product design and effectively collaborate with others who share your passion for building businesses and helping patients and team members be their best. Driving growth for new payer products and aligning with system growth initiatives is essential to this role while navigating in coordination with health plan marketing programs and the unique aspects of marketing Medicare Advantage products.

What you will do:

  • Serve as the lead clinically integrated product apostle – evangelize Medicare Advantage product-building, showcasing with internal and external stakeholders and spearheading new business and brand education efforts. (20%)
  • Develop a deep and ongoing comprehension of the customer (patient and provider) use consumer insights to drive produce development and launch strategy; identify areas of opportunity to deepen understanding (20%)
  • Collaborate with partners - within marketing, clinical operations and across the organization work to define and develop a new product, capabilities and branded offering through insights, marketing channels and organization innovations. (15%)
  • Proactively steward results – develop and track performance metrics to provide ongoing feedback to stakeholders regarding product development, launch and performance. Gauge and proactively address ongoing performance needs. (15%)
  • Anticipate and proactively influence product growth - use marketing and story-telling to leverage content across channels and platforms. (10%)
  • Develop and nurture key organization relationships - engage important clinical, business and external relationships to both share and further insights. (5%)
  • Manage outside agencies and partners - nurture and guide agency and partner relationships to assure consistently excellent work and results. (5%)
  • Develop and manage budget for product-building-related activities. (5%)
  • Identify how this partnership model has impact and relevance in other aspects of the Endeavor Health business. (5%)

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field required. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Certification: N/A
  • Experience/Skills:
  • 8+ years professional experience in insights and marketing – preferred health care plan marketing experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal, listening, and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated experience using data to inform decision making & strategy planning
  • Demonstrated knowledge of health plan member benefit plans and member regulatory marketing guidelines
  • Proven leadership experience bringing creativity to insight development
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong creative skills. Loves trying new approaches, platforms and executions
  • Proficiency in guest/patient experience systems
  • Ability to masterfully manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
