Role Overview:

As Senior Planning Manager, you’ll be responsible for defining, driving and leading all planning activities, including production planning, capacity planning, external CM commit process, and revenue shipments. You’ll also responsible for implementing a robust Sl&OP (Sales Inventory & Operations Planning) process that understands customer requirements and sees them through the factory to meet all delivery expectations. We are looking for a change leader, responsible for building consensus for transforming the business. This is a hands-on senior role that may grow into a leadership role for the right candidate as the Aeva grows.

What you'll be doing:

  • Oversee the master production schedule to ensure there is alignment to the AOP (Annual Operating Plan) sales plan
  • Analyze CM(Contract Manufacturing) production schedules and plant capacity data while outlining recommendations to minimize constraints in manufacturing sites
  • Drive the cross-functional internal and external production meetings Collaborate with customer and sales teams, ensuring alignment on customer demand
  • Oversee and review material requirements to ensure that parts are scheduled and delivered on-time to the production plan
  • Provide input regarding the production impact of order changes, material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions
  • Establish inventory planning standards, procedures, and performance levels
  • Create and manage KPl's (Key Performance Indicators) such as LT(Lead Time), OTS (On Time Shipment)Identify root causes, corrective actions, provide and implement solutions
  • Partner on ERP (Enterprise Resource Program) system strategy for scale
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships at all levels

What you have:

  • 8 - 10 years relevant experience in all aspects of planning ideally in a CM model
  • Strong knowledge of MPS (Master Production Schedule)/MRP (Material Requirement Planning) and/or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems
  • Strong Knowledge of SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations planning process)
  • Strong Knowledge of demand management planning
  • Hands-on problem solver, creating short term fixes and long term scale
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Strong Excel skills and usage
  • Bachelor degree in business, engineering or relevant experience

Nice to have:

  • Post graduate degree in Business or Engineering related field
  • Experience in lean manufacturing principles and thorough understanding of Kaizen, 6S, Kanban
  • Experience in data analytics and data visualization
