JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Scranton Department of Athletics, a member of the Penn State University Athletic Conference, is accepting applications for a part time Head Coach in the sport of Women`s Soccer.

The Head Coach is responsible for recruitment, program development, practice preparation, and coaching events under the direction of the Athletic Director with the opportunity to have an Assistant Coach. 

This part-time position requires strict adherence to The Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC), United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA), and NCAA Division III rules. Hours vary between competition season and recruiting season and will vary based upon team schedule, expected between 10 to 20 hours per week. 

Applicants must be well versed in the sport of soccer, with previous coaching experience preferred. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. All applications, cover letters, and resumes must be submitted electronically.

This job requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid US driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
