Prime Healthcare’s executive leadership is expanding and is seeking Regional Chief Medical Officers across our Regions.

Responsibilities

The Regional Chief Medical Officer (CMO) is a hands-on, visible leader within their respective market(s) and is responsible for all over strategic leadership, planning, development, direction, coordination and control of activity within patient care, clinical and clinical support service areas. The Regional CMO works collaboratively with leaders and staff to ensure that high quality, patient-centered care is delivered in a cost-effective manner.

While providing executive leadership, the Regional CMO demonstrates in-depth knowledge and expertise for, hospital operations and compliance with regulatory bodies, clinical documentation, and end-to-end revenue cycle management.

Qualifications

  1. Medical Degree and Master’s degree in Business, Health Administration or related field.
  2. Minimum of ten (10) years of clinical practice experience required.
  3. Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Chief Medical Officer within a multi-site, multi-state health system, or within a large, complex acute care hospital is required.
  4. Proven ability to ensure quality patient care is delivered within a cost-effective manner is required.
  5. In-depth knowledge of clinical documentation and revenue cycle operations and management, including inpatient and professional billing and collections.
  6. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Ability to effectively lead at all levels of management is required.
  8. Demonstrates commitment to quality patient-centered community care is required.
