We are currently seeking an Operations Manager to join our team Veracio team in Santiago, Chile.

The Operations Manager is responsible for supervising all facets of scanning operations within their designated area, ensuring onsite rock scanning activities are conducted and daily data flow is provided to clients and stakeholders, both internal and external, while adhering to safety and quality standards. Additionally, they offer leadership and direction to Field Technicians in the region.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in Chile
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
• Experience troubleshooting basic electrical and mechanical issues required
• Experience working in the mining industry, preferably at a mine site, highly desired
• Ability to gain a thorough knowledge and understanding of XRF scanning operations
• Ability to effectively use computers to operate TruScan equipment, collect data, and transmit results via cloud-based systems
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding all project details and data collection.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
• Must demonstrate effective organization skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
• Must have a clean driving record, a valid Driver License, and the ability to operate vehicles

Responsibilities

• Scan Leader: Serve as the senior leader for TruScan and Minalyze deployment across Latin America. Will be required to own relationships with Senior Stakeholders, internally and externally. Takes initiative to fully understand both platforms technically and mechanically.
• Leads HSE: Coordinate all HSE activities and ensures a safe working environment by effectively communicating and implementing EHS policies and procedures. Assists regional team on customer reporting requirements and incident / accident investigations.
• Hiring and Coordination: Hire, coordinate, and directly manage crews and equipment logistics to ensure job demands and customer requirements are met.
• Maintenance: Oversee and complete basic troubleshooting and repairs of TruScan units and auxiliary equipment
• Supply Chain & Shipping: Coordinates shipping and receiving across the globe. To/from other regions, site, etc. Will need to support Global supply chain team.
