The mission of Hidden Valley 4-H Camp is to provide youth with a fun, residential camp experience under the guidance of positive role models that emphasize community building, positive social interactions, environmental awareness, and skill building.
The Head Resident is responsible for working directly with the cabin counselors to ensure they have the tools and support needed to have the best possible interactions with the campers throughout the camping season.
Duration
The summer camp season includes one Senior Staff week beginning June 23rd, one week of mandatory staff training from June 30th through July 7th, and five full weeks and one partial week of residential and day camp running from Sunday at 11:00 AM to Friday at 6:00 PM except the weekend starting August 9th. This weekend will be a working weekend for all camp staff. The specific dates the Camp is in operation are July 7th through August 13th. The Head Resident will remain on Camp until August 16th to assist in closing the camp facility.

Salary and Benefit Details
The rate of pay will be $2500.00. (Rate will be reduced for any time scheduled but not worked during the period) The pay rate is commensurate with experience, certifications, responsibilities, and availability. Benefits are not available for this position.
