Job Description Summary:

We’re looking for a Technical Asset Management Specialist!

The Asset Manager will oversee a 120 MW portfolio of operative PV plants, with the target of supervising the operation of the assets, maximizing production, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with the current technical regulations.

Job Description:

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collect and analyze results of the portfolio performance using an internal monitoring platform and coordinate with onsite operators to solve incidents.
  • Supervising O&M activities about preventive and corrective maintenance by mapping activities performed according to agreed time scheduling and by reviewing O&M monthly reports.
  • Validate energy figures published for energy sales purposes including claims in case of discrepancies.
  • Management of Power Purchase Agreements, including the invoicing process, REGO’s and ROC’s submission and validation of PPA contractual obligations.
  • Periodical site visits to check the conditions of the plants under supervision.
  • Monitor and supervise the contracts in place, checking that all obligations are met and guaranteed metrics achieved.
  • Delivery on time scheduled reporting including technical and financial status.
  • Manage insurance and warranty claims.
  • Technical support to the Clients.
  • Approve invoices for services delivered by third parties.
  • Technical and contractual support to administration and tax specialists.
  • Report to the Client, and the financing entities, the main parameters of the technical performance of the plants in compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Coordination with all the bodies involved in the operation such as DNO or local planning authority in order to comply with the local regulations.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the renewable energy sector
  • Driving license and availability to travel from time to time within the UK.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office package while PVSYST, GIS and Autocad are a plus
  • Language Skills: Fluent English
  • Customer Service oriented mindset
  • Awareness of the electricity market and main players involved
  • Awareness about main HSE topics related to the UK
  • PV (Wind or BESS technology would be a plus)
