Job Description

As a Mechanical Fitter based in Perth Airport with some travel to our onsite laboratories, you will provide service, repairs and improvements for laboratory and sample preparation equipment.

Other responsibilities include, however not limited to:

• Undertake breakdown and scheduled repairs to equipment
• Troubleshoot problems and work together with laboratory staff to achieve long term solutions
• Analyze and identify areas of improvement in the plant and equipment and implement the changes
• Undertake projects to improve the process and reliability of automated systems
• Integrate and implement preventative maintenance schedules to equipment and refine as required
• Document and analyse all work to improve workplace efficiency

Qualifications

• A qualified mechanical fitter with experience in production line/factory process control systems
• Have previous experience with control systems in an industrial environment
• Must have a good understanding of electro-mechanical and automated equipment
• Have strong computer skills and experience in MS Excel
