IDG is seeking an ERP Application Product Owner/Manager to join our IT G&A team. As part of the transformation effort at IDG, this role will have experience in designing business workflows, architecting, and implementing Dynamics 365 business solutions. They will lead the D365 implementation, interacting with the project manager, system implementor, business stakeholders, workstream leads, developers, and members of the senior leadership team, as appropriate. This role will also work with ISVs to integrate them into the platform.

This role will be critical to establishing a world class ERP at IDG and establishing our go forward platform to enable our long-range plan.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 3 workstream leads/BAs
  • Provide leadership for functional and technical efforts for D365 during transformation including phased implementations across production, development and test environments.
  • Work with the finance team to build product roadmap and release plans
  • Liaison with system implementors and ISVs to ensure optimal platform use.
  • Work with development, DBA, network, operations, and business teams to design and implement new solutions as appropriate.
  • Maintain and enhance different modules of D365 across our 3 workstream (O2C, P2P and R2R)
  • Lead BAs in preparing functional requirements by analyzing current workflows to improve the quality and efficiency of the application.
  • Review business flows and technical documentation, assess technical feasibility, analyze business workflow and configuration needs.
  • Create change request documentation for Change Control Board's (CCB) review.
  • Be responsible for D365 user setup and security configurations
  • Coordinate releases of software builds into production environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field of study, or equivalent experience; 8+ years of ERP experience, including:
  • Experiance with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, experiacne required minimum (3 years).
  • Experience upgrading D365 F&O environments.
  • Experience in creating requirements specifications based on Architecture/ Design / Detailing of ERP Business Processes.
  • Experience with SSRS, SSIS, SSAS and related Microsoft tools such as Power Pivot.
  • Understanding of requirement gathering and testing of web-based applications and SaaS services.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of LCS (Life Cycle Services) and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Knowledge in web services XML, Azure Platforms (Azure SQL, Data Lake), SharePoint, and Power BI.
  • This role is based at our Needham MA location with a hybrid work schedule to come into the office 1-2 days per week. (We will also consider qualified candidates 100% remote in an approved US (East Coast) location.

Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. This process considers the experience, education, certifications, and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated employees, as well as employer-verified US region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner. The anticipated total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $144,000 and $160,000 and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation (if applicable).
