We are developing the rating engine for modern, international life insurance products in close cooperation with the leading provider of life insurance products, Allianz Lebensversicherungs AG. The rating engine that is developed in our area is the basis of the insurance company. We use it to calculate a large number of central insurance values such as premiums, benefits, costs, etc. and are involved in many exciting and innovative projects. For the implementation we rely on the programming languages C/C++ and in some cases Java, as well as many other standard tools.
For this IT area, we are looking for several software developers (m/f/d) to further develop the rating engine.
You will:
- Development, test, build, deployment and operation of insurance-related software with professional use of modern technologies, processes and and agile working methods
- Independent analysis and implementation of business requirements as well as technical processes
- Supporting the automation and optimization of development tools, as well as build, deployment and test procedures
- Review and optimization of related workflows on a regular basis
You need:
- Completed studies in (business) computer science or comparable qualification
- First work experience is welcome
- Mastery of programming techniques in C or mastery of another programming language combined with a willingness to learn C
- Experience in working with Git and cloud environments, e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud
- Ability to analyze complex issues quickly and formulate them precisely, combined with a strong solution orientation.
- High degree of independence, ability to work in a team, personal responsibility and customer orientation.
- Flexibility, commitment and interest in familiarizing yourself with the technical background
- Very good knowledge of German (at least C1 level)
