Job Description

  • As part of your doctorate, you will develop active learning algorithms that can be used in a software package to apply root cause analyses to only partially labeled data
  • The algorithms you develop will be used, among other things, to find causes or prevent anomalies in development and production
  • You will focus on the development and investigation of different active learning approaches and test them against comparable methods and baseline models
  • You will familiarize yourself with the current literature on Active Learning / Bayesian Active Learning and use the existing tech stack, as well as other open source packages, to develop algorithms that improve test times and model predictions for MEMS sensors

Qualifications

  • Education:Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics, mathematics, cybernetics, artificial intelligence and data science or similar
  • Experience and Knowledge: Good knowledge of Python, basic knowledge of software development, good understanding of frequentist and Bayesian statistics, good knowledge of machine learning methods, initial experience in the field of active learning and the processing of real use cases desirable
  • Qualifications: Eligible for a doctorate
  • Personality and Working Practice: communicative, committed, independent, enthusiastic
  • Enthusiasm: High interest in complex tasks from data-driven product development with state-of-the-art infrastructure, as well as mathematical active learning models
