At Datadog, Office Operations (OfficeOps) run the day-to-day operations for Datadog and help to keep our employees safe, happy and productive, which means every day is different. Office Operations work closely with leadership and employees to ensure that Datadog keeps scaling smoothly and remains a great place to work.

Datadog is looking for a Manager, Office Operations, to join our team in Boston to help us with a range of responsibilities to support our growing office. Our office is growing and we need a high energy person to keep it running at top performance. You’ll help keep our employees safe, happy and productive, which could mean ensuring we’re not running out of espresso beans and pretzels, planning an ice-skating event for 400 people, or hosting a 150 guest meetup into our gorgeous Boston office - every day will be different.

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for running our Boston office
  • Identify and onboard local vendors
  • Manage our lunch, snack and beverage vendors
  • Use OfficeSpace and neighborhood scenarios to work with department leaders to develop seating plans 
  • Hire, manage, develop and coach OfficeOps team members
  • Handle all furniture & equipment installations and repairs
  • Partner with IT & People (HR) to ensure a positive experience onboarding and offboarding
  • Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with building management, engineers & other vendors
  • Collaborate with other Datadog OfficeOps Managers on various initiatives
  • Oversee daily walkthroughs to maintain a clean and safe space
  • Manage orders for office needs
  • Manage all mailroom incoming and outgoing procedures
  • Oversight of all Boston events

  • Great at adjusting message content and tone to your audience
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a fast­-paced environment
  • Minimum 3 years experience of managing full-time staff

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Datadog ranges from $98,000.00 to $125,000.00, plus a competitive equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Datadog offers a wide range of best in class, comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits for this role including healthcare, dental, parental planning, and mental health benefits, a 401(k) plan and match, paid time off, fitness reimbursements, and a discounted employee stock purchase plan.
