At Adevinta we're looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join us our Collaborative and inclusive work environment in Amsterdam.

In this role you will report to the SRE Engineering Lead.

What you'll do

• Work with our cloud tech hub engineering teams and platform teams to build available and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Implement and automate monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to resolve potential issues.
• Manage initiatives to improve system reliability, performance, and security through infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are designed with reliability and scalability in mind.
• Respond to and resolve incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical production systems.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to cloud computing and reliability engineering.
• Be able to contribute and share your ideas in a hybrid work model.

Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a site reliability engineering or DevOps role, with a focus on AWS and GCP.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Shell, or Go.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager is MUST.
• Understanding of cloud-native services and working experience in Kubernets, Argo, Istio, Helm, and Prometheus.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, CloudWatch and have exposure in at least one CI/CD Tools - Github Actions.
