GenScript ProBio is the subsidiary of GenScript Biotech Corporation, proactively providing end-to-end CDMO service from drug discovery to commercialization with proactive strategies, professional solutions and efficient processes in cell and gene therapy (CGT), vaccine, biologics discovery and antibody protein drug to accelerate drug development for customers. GenScript ProBio’s total cell and gene therapy solution covers CMC of plasmid and virus for IND filing as well as clinical manufacturing and commercial manufacturing. In terms of plasmid service, GenScript ProBio supports the most clinical approvals for CGT drugs including mRNA vaccines, CAR-T in China. Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the R&D and process development of molecular biology business, including the development of new services and technologies, production process improvement and process optimization;
  • Create and review SOPs, participate in training technicians and creating process documentations.
  • Transformation of R&D achievements into production process, solving technical problems of the production team.
  • Research, create and test automated process to improve quality and reduce cost.
  • Connect with the marketing and business teams to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for the daily management and coordination of the project team.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. degree or above, major in molecular biology, microbiology, cell biology, biochemistry and other related majors.
  • Familiar with various molecular biology techniques, such as molecular cloning, PCR/qPCR, library construction, plasmid extraction, gene editing, western blot, protein expression, etc.
  • Knowledge with cell biology technology, including cell culture, transfection, virus packaging, cell line construction, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, good at critical thinking and root cause analysis.
  • Have a strong sense of responsibility, enterprising, good communication skills, teamwork and learning ability.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English.
