Job summary
The Manufacturing Cybersecurity SME will oversee the cybersecurity as part of design configuration/implementation and supporting manufacturing networks and systems. Interacts closely with manufacturing engineers to understand and support manufacturing requirements while managing risk working closely with the rest of the Information Security team. Additionally, will liaise closely with global Infrastructure Systems and Network teams.
Roles & Responsibilities
Ability to define and develop Cognizant’s cybersecurity capabilities in OT networks including the standards that manufacturers must adhere to.
Collaborate with divisional manufacturing engineers and other operational system owners to develop OT cyber standards. Experience in plant OT networks, partitioning is desirable.
Experience in backup, business continuity and disaster recovery (DR) capabilities.
Define an assessment methodology for reviewing as-is state of OT networks and ability to recommend remediation.
Apply mitigating controls for legacy systems such as network isolation / segmentation.
Good knowledge of cyber security landscape with solutions from Claroty, Tenable, Dragos etc
Evaluate cybersecurity monitoring and detection capabilities for OT networks.
Document OT network and system design and architecture.
Document OT assets and maintain asset inventory.
Coordinate and assist with controls monitoring and reviews for any OT networks and systems including cooperation with Internal Audit and external auditors as necessary.
Maintain compliance with IT policies and procedures.
Project management create and manage project plans ensuring timely delivery on budget and within scope. Provide timely and accurate project reporting.
Assist with budget planning and development.
Skills and Abilities
Strong understanding of OT architecture design and experience supporting OT networks including strong understanding of OPC UA and MQTT.
Strong understanding of network infrastructure architecture and protocols and experience segmenting ICS / SCADA / OT systems via myriad network technologies (VLAN ACLs Firewalls etc.)
Exposure to with Wonderware/Aveva Rockwell Automation GE Schneider Electric Honeywell Siemens and other Industrial Control Systems solutions.
Exposure to cloud, IoT and other plant systems.
Strong ability and desire to perform root cause analysis.
Strong understanding of fundamental routed and routing protocols and WAN/LAN design.
Vendor certifications preferred (e.g. GICSP GRID GCIP NIST)
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university (Information Technology Information Systems) required.
