Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for an Customer Service Rep. You will be focusing on ensuring that our customers end up with great service and quality products at the right time.

What you’ll do:

  • Answer customer questions received by telephone, email or fax about products, prices, availability, product uses and credit terms.
  • Generate and issue quotations based on the customers’ requirements.
  • Select the correct products or assist customers in making product selections, based on customer needs, product specifications and applicable regulations.
  • Set up an internal relationship with nominated key account customers, and to become their company liaison person.
  • Contact customers in relation to orders and delivery status – follow the order through to delivery.

What you’ll bring:

  • >2 years proven customer service (call centre or face to face) or internal sales experience within a similar industry, with a preference for the industrial market and catalogue sales.
  • Sound knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system.
  • Inbound and outbound sales experience.

Within 3 months, you’ll:

  • Complete your Atkore immersion program.
  • Understand how your job will help deliver Atkore’s strategy.
  • Gain an understanding of your team.
  • Gain an understanding of the training materials and procedures your team owns.

Within 6-months, you’ll:

  • Have a better understanding of the wholesale market in your region
  • Built relationships with various customers
  • Have a solid understanding of the sales process

Within 12-months, you’ll:

  • Actively managing clients
  • Generating revenue for the Company
  • Quoting difficult jobs
  • Contributing to Atkore Sales across the Company
