The purpose of this position is to accurately process the security trade transactions to downstream systems. Efficiently resolve errors, complete static data mapping for account and counter party setup & maintenance, respond to queries, and reconcile positions. Also participate in operational improvements, automation, testing and other project work. This role offers a fast pace, wide variety of tasks, cross training within an interactive environment, and collaboration with internal and external business partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of investment securities trades from internal trading systems as well as Swift and MFT files to downstream accounting and reporting systems.
  • Securities include: fixed, equity, foreign, domestic, derivative and currency.
  • Monitor emails for trade queries or change requests and ensure updates are made accurately and timely
  • Set up and maintenance of static data related to trading accounts and brokers.
  • Conveying systems issues to various Technology groups.
  • Testing and business validation for project work including system installs, upgrades, automation, account on boarding and process improvements.
  • Systems used include Aladdin, PAM/PFI, Invest One, Golden Source Security Master, Excel, Outlook, Bloomberg, Share Point, multiple broker portals, and proprietary databases.
  • Attend huddles, team meetings, trainings and coaching.
  • Participate in standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Basic MS – Word / Excel, Outlook knowledge.
  • Knowledge in Accounting & Securities market/Investment products.
  • Knowledge of Investment tools (like Bloomberg), Portfolio management tool (Aladdin) will be an added advantage.
  • Must have good communication skills (written and oral), interpersonal skills and be an effective team player.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Good analytical, quantitative & problem-solving skills and ability to use statistical analysis and modeling.
