Including planning, executing and performing of physical inventory counts assigned by the Manager. Responsible for researching and correcting discrepancies that occur. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (This list is not intended to be all inclusive)

  1. Accurately count and record inventory levels.
  2. Participate in monthly sweep counts.
  3. Research and correct variances in physical and logical inventory levels.
  4. Isolate specific items or product categories with high shrinkage rates and report findings to
  5. Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure the timely completion of task.
  6. Listen and respond to client and coworker needs/requests appropriately and timely.
  7. Maintain neatness, cleanliness, and organization of the department.
  8. Verify inventory counts against internal invoices
  9. Add METRC ID labels to products
  10. Support the Supply Chain team with filing and other clerical duties.
  11. Create and execute a count schedule so that all inventory items are counted, and all discrepancies are researched every 4 weeks in each location.
  12. Work will be performed out of both Oakland & San Jose locations.
  13. Other duties as assigned

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Assist with the coordination and execution of inventory sweep counts.
  2. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
  3. Assist with the maintenance of departmental equipment and ensure it is functioning and in good working order.
  4. Attend required meetings and participate in team and professional development activities as needed.
  5. Provide timely and appropriate feedback to Supervisor.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
  7. Development of product categories and pricing for product categories from products coming from FLRish farms, including but not limited to: Trimmed Flowers, Trim, Full Plant Material Dry, Full Plant Frozen, Plants (clones, teen plants, and flower ready plants)
  8. Attend industry functions, events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and trends.
  9. Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to increased sales and profitability.

WORK CONTEXT:

Physical Requirements

  • Requires prolonged standing and sitting, and some bending, reaching, stooping and stretching
  • Ability to operate a computer, POS system and other office equipment
  • Moving up to 30 pounds on occasion

Working Conditions

  • Work will generally be performed in a fast-paced cannabis dispensary
  • Involves frequent contact with staff and occasional contact with clients/vendors
  • Requires repetitive hand and wrist motions
  • Requires working varied hours/day, including nights, weekends, holidays, and/or events, on occasion
  • Requires mandatory inventory counts

Communication

  • Frequent contact with others via email, face-to-face discussions, and telephone.
  • Some communication required via mail and fax.

Education and Experience Required:

  • HS diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Prior experience creating reports in Excel
  • Prior experience with research and data analysis
  • Prior experience (1+ year) of inventory control or warehouse experience
  • Prior experience (3+ years) working in the cannabis and/or health industry highly desirable
  • Must be 21+ years old and pass a criminal background check
