Job Description

The Customer Support Engineer (CSE) will be part of the Lithuanian Services Organization, led by a group of dedicated Radio System & IP Network based professional engineers, who bring together a wide range of skills and experience that provide critical system support to Motorola Solutions Mission Critical Customers both in Lithuania and across Europe. Such systems include Land Mobile Radio solutions, Software solutions such as Mission Critical Broad Band Push to Talk (MCPTT), Command and Control solutions, through to Two-way Radio products.

We’re looking for talented, motivated, and committed Electronic/System/Computer Engineering graduates/engineers to join us and help our customers in the MOMENTS THAT MATTER!

Based in Vilnius, the CSE will be part of a unique engineering team that predominantly performs maintenance (Preventative and Corrective) activities, implementation of critical software patches, provide technical support during major software upgrades, as well as providing technical support with system expansions, growing either the existing system or implementing new solutions. The CSE will be expected to travel to Customer locations to perform their duties.

Basic Requirements

  • All applicants must undergo and pass detailed security-vetting checks based on country and customer requirements;
  • University degree or Technical degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent education;
  • Good knowledge of IP network architecture and its components, Server Virtualization & Operating Systems, Database Servers, Network Switches, Firewalls and Routers;
  • Availability & willingness to perform On-call duty (24/7);
  • Availability and willingness to travel, inside and outside Lithuania;
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and meet strict deadlines;
  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills to solve problems and make decisions;
  • High degree of independence and assertiveness;
  • Perfect written and oral communication skills in Lithuanian and English. Additional languages would be advantageous;
  • Class B driving license;
