The successful applicant will join an interdisciplinary research team from the University of North Texas, USDA Forest Service, and the University of California Berkeley. We offer a flexible start in summer or fall 2024. Funding includes full-time salary and benefits for up to 16 months.

The successful candidate will take a leadership role in analysis of stakeholder interviews and inventory of post-fire programs and outcomes in two counties in northern California (Lake & Sonoma Counties). Qualitative data on risk reduction programs and geospatial wildfire risk modeling outputs will inform the incumbent’s work engaging with community stakeholders and creating tangible, written, and visual research products.
