Summary

In this role, you will initially work on simpler land projects and assist in the design of maritime fire extinguishing systems and work under the guidance of experienced project managers. Our professional organization enables a great development path towards demanding & rewarding tasks.

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to support our marine and land-based HI-FOG water mist fire protection systems. In this role, you will manage designs within various projects from start, through end of life incorporating feedback from stakeholders and customers continuously. This position requires collaboration, and you must demonstrate excellent process and project management skills to function effectively with peers and clients. You will work independently yet will also be a part of a technical & competent team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Higher education suitable for the task (Electrical Engineering or Automation Bachelor degree)
  • Fluent English skills, both spoken and written
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and database-based electrical design programs, preferably E3 or Eplan
  • Willingness to learn, enthusiastic and self-directed approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a team

Although not necessary, it would be an advantage:

  • Finnish language knowledge
  • Masters degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in PLC programming and/or HI-FOG system
  • Knowledge/Practical experience with Industrial Automation Components & Control Circuits

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and facilitate design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of electronic equipment with our clients through multiple projects.
  • Prepare engineering sketches or specifications to construct, relocate, or install equipment, facilities, products, or systems.
  • Documentation in order to track progress and analyse performance.
