About the Role:
As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will:
- Engage with IT and business executives across various industries, leveraging your management consulting acumen to drive organizational transformation through cloud technologies.
- Lead customer workshops, evaluating current infrastructure and advising on cloud adoption or optimization strategies.
- Design sophisticated cloud landing zone architectures for applications, data, and enterprise-wide topics, incorporating management consulting frameworks to align IT infrastructure with business strategy.
- Adhere to and advocate for client-specific Enterprise Architecture standards, ensuring solutions are strategically aligned and operationally sound.
- Possess keen awareness of Cybersecurity and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, applying them to safeguard solution architecture and enhance system resilience.
- Evaluate the economic impact of AWS services, integrating cost-benefit analysis into solution architecture decisions to optimize financial and operational performance.
- Aid in cloud business analysis, including cloud unit costing and constructing compelling business cases.
- Synthesize complex technical information into executive summaries and presentations that resonate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest AWS offerings and technologies, ensuring our practices are at the forefront of innovation.
About You:
- Your foundation is solid in both software development and enterprise architecture, with a knack for translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- With 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience, you're well-versed in the nuances of cloud services and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in IaC technologies (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) and a history of successful AWS consultations highlight your resume.
- You've demonstrated your abilities in enterprise-scale architectures and hold AWS Professional certification(s).
- Your experience with Cloud Governance exemplifies your understanding of risk management principles in cloud environments.
- You're adept at leading pre-sales engagements, addressing complex customer inquiries with ease, and providing clear, impactful presentations.
- Attention to detail is your strength, yet you never lose sight of the overarching strategic context.
- Data-driven decision-making is second nature to you, with an emphasis on continually seeking new data insights to inform your strategies.
- You can distill complex cloud concepts into concise explanations, communicating your ideas with clarity and precision.
- Fluency in English is essential, and German language skills are highly desirable.
- Additional experience with other cloud providers and familiarity with management consulting methodologies is a plus.
