BAT COSTA RICA IS LOOKING FOR A FINANCE MANAGER-COMMERCIAL/OPERATION FINANCE (PIPELINE)

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
We are looking for a Finance Manager who will bring innovation, creativity, and a good attitude to our team. In this role, you will report to a Senior Finance Manager. You will be a key member of the commercial and operation finance team. You will apply your expertise in automation, simplification, problem-solving, variance, and trend analysis. In addition, this role will allow you to engage with different areas and collaborate in projects of great visibility to mainly support finance and trade teams.
Reports to: Senior operation/commercial manager
Reporting Level: 1-2 direct reports
Geographic Scope: US
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Monthly Actuals vs Forecast analysis and guarantee financial statement lines (P&L, B/S, and CF).
- Support monthly review meetings with analysis by product category and identify risks and opportunities to be presented to the end market Leadership Team.
- Guarantee SOX controls are executed and maintained. Clear understanding of processes and procedures in place.
- Lead the simplification and automation. Engage with stakeholders to promote commercial-driven discussions while execute process optimizations, improving business performance.
- Proactive business partner supporting/managing key stakeholders.
- Support/lead the development of financial modeling and provide scenario analysis to drive commercial business decisions. Must be able to operate effectively under pressure and in an ambiguous environment.
- Develop and sustain strong business partnering relationships across Commercial and Operations Teams.
- Accountable for team routines measuring key topline Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- 8+ years of experience in Accounting, Financial Analysis, or related areas.
- Strong knowledge of finance/analytics and demonstrated commercial acumen.
- Ability to make quick decisions, use good judgment, and ask relevant questions.
- High sense of urgency and work ethic,
- Must demonstrate financial responsibility and reliability.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint is a must.
- Fluent in English –Advanced level.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related area.
BENEFICIAL
- CPA, MBA, or Master of Accounting.
- High proficiency in Power BI MicroStrategy, BPC, and SAP skills is a plus for the role.
