About Reference Data Management Operations

Reference Data Management Operations (RDMO) is responsible for supporting Market Data Analytics (MDA), creation & maintenance of Assets, Pricing, Issuer and Index reference data. RDMO provides global operational support & services to stakeholders within Asset and Wealth Management Business which includes various internal groups i.e. Operations, Front Office, Middle Office, Performance Analysis Group, Client Reporting, Compliance, Regulatory Reporting and collaborates with Technology & Chief Data Office to Onboard/implement strategic system of record and authoritative data sources which helps business to receive real time, dynamic reference data. RDMO also partners with Ops to resolve the Data Quality (DQ) issues, with objective to enhance the data users experience and timely grab the opportunities to meet Business demands across regions.

A critical priority for RDMO is to transform and automate end to end processes resulting in straight through processing, enhancing controls and reducing risk of human errors across various system of records. 

We are seeking an Associate specializing in the process transformation, automation and digitization to better optimize operational processes, controls and improve productivity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand & analyze processes in current state, propose & drive process improvements, design & develop innovative Intelligent Automation solutions by leveraging latest process improvement and digital transformation technologies / tools.

Job Responsibilities:

As a successful candidate you will:

  • Analyze processes in current state and identify opportunities for end to end process improvement / automation.
  • Drive process automation projects throughout the lifecycle from requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment and continuous improvement while adhering to Firmwide governance standards & controls.
  • Build, maintain and enhance solutions for end to end processes using UiPath, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, Unqork, etc.
  • Track & Communicate open action items, risks, issues, dependencies and deadlines clearly and effectively to stakeholders
  • Ensure solutions are reviewed & approved from operational risk & control perspectives.
  • Ensure solutions are compliant with Firmwide and Lob level governance framework and controls standards.
  • Ensure all the project documents & artefacts are well defined at granular level, updated and maintained in common document repository
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders on OKRs/KPIs to deliver benefits from operational automation.
  • Collaborate with OTS, Tech & Analytics CoEs to develop advanced automations solutions.
  • Drive solution change and enhancement requests 
  • Leverage industry best practices and coding standards to create scalable and reusable solutions
  • Guide, train and mentor team members to upskill on low code tools and strengthen super users community.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or other advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science).
  • 5 to 7+ years of experience preferably in Financial Services / Reference Data management functions.
  • Must have hands on experience with developing solutions using UiPath or RPA tool / Python / Alteryx / Tableau.
  • Familiar with Agile / Scrum / Waterfall SDLC & project management concepts, methodology & framework 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiar with process improvement methodologies and frameworks, such as Lean, Six Sigma or Business Process Management.
  • Ability to manage stringent delivery timelines and resolve dependencies/ risk/issues.
  • Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent presentation skills.
  • Effective Collaboration, influencing and time management skills.
  • Self- Starter and curiosity for learning new tools to solve business problems.
  • Good to have hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, etc.
  • Exposure to Financial products / asset classes in wealth management, asset management, private banking functions preferred.
