Job Summary:

Join our dynamic team as Full Stack Application Developer (PHP/Vue.js), where you will be instrumental in creating, enhancing, and delivering complex products and services that shape our B2B eCommerce platform's customer experience. With a sharp focus on driving technological excellence, you'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure our platform remains at the industry's forefront.

Essential Functions:

  • Work within the Product Development team to design, implement, and launch intricate products tailored to our stakeholders 
  • Work closely with the team and stakeholders to define, clarify, and enhance the application’s behavior, appearance, and functions 
  • Diagnose complex issues, evaluate, assist in the recommendation and execute the best resolution
  • Engage with Product Managers to ascertain application demands, ensuring the delivery of top-tier functions, features, and user experiences 
  • Modify, enhance and implement software systems designed to support new or existing business initiatives
  • Influence system design by assisting to identify and recommend design and requirements needs for software enhancements
  • Test software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements
  • Produce code in alignment with production standards and design specifications, ensuring it is regression-free, aptly documented, and undergoes unit testing 
  • Actively and independently acquire knowledge of emerging development technologies
  • Engage in design and wireframe assessments, offering technical insights during the implementation phase
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

  • 3 plus years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related study 
  • In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript (Vue.js), and familiarity with Linux and Apache environments
  • Understand data formats like JSON, cXML, X12 EDI, and others
  • Foundation in data structures, algorithms, and OO Design
  • PHP MVC framework experience with Zend Framework or similar
  • Solid understanding of LAMP stack development
  • Experience with HTTP API development and consumption
  • Familiarity with SOA and microservice architectures
  • Strong experience with both SQL (e.g.- MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g.- MongoDB) database technologies
  • Proficiency with Snowflake, including data modeling, performance optimization, and data warehousing tasks is a strong plus
  • In-depth experience with Elasticsearch and its integration within web applications
  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services and cloud native solutions
  • Ability and willingness to learn new languages as necessary
  • Exposure to Unit Testing and Release Management
  • Understanding of best practices in mobile UX design
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies (i.e.- Scrum, Kanban)
  • Ability to deliver against several initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities
