As a Global Upstream Marketing Manager for our Digital Infusion and Integration platform, you have lots of ideas grounded in research and knowledge of the marketplace. What you'll be doing

Our Global Medication Delivery business is dedicated to creating customer value from the prescription to the safe delivery of medication around the world and across the patient continuum of care.

Medication Delivery has a vast portfolio of products including IV solutions, infusion systems including Elastomerics, IV sets and access, pharmacy tools, ICNet and Dose Edge – all aimed at creating new, innovative value for customers and patients.

Position Overview

  • Strategy development and execution for Baxter on market global infusion digital platforms
  • Capitalize on commonalities to optimize customers connected infusion pump experience.
  • Evaluate market segments globally including understanding competitive landscape, clinical trends, business drivers, and connected health and IT considerations in the segment to proactively find opportunities to the existing portfolio and pipeline
  • Support product lifecycle management for specified segment of infusion devices with balanced decision making, considering all aspects of product health and risk including but not limited to patient needs, technical requirements, commercial, manufacturing, technical design and quality
  • In collaboration with product owner(s), drive decisions regarding the digital capabilities of product performance, quality/reliability, compliance and risk profile throughout the life of the assigned product family (e.g. CAPA, risk management, hazards, etc.)
  • Lead relationship management with third party Gateway provider for Spectrum and partner with internal IQ Enterprise Gateway and DoseIQ teams
  • Use quality system and listening systems data to build a coordinated view of product health and roadmap for pump and gateway connected solutions
  • Drive awareness of issues and be an advocate for changes that will improve the digital evolution of the portfolio.
  • Key contributor to prioritization of product sustaining activities such as software enhancements to support interoperability, supplier change notices, operational improvement projects, regulatory commitments, etc.
  • Manage commercial tools for the global infusion pump portfolio, including internal/ external partners, to ensure commercial success, including the Universal Implementation Process
  • Support global commercial activities to accelerate infusion pump customers digital experience by working closely with product owner, R&D, quality, regulatory, medical, and regional and country marketing
  • Accountable for regional and country external customer support for on market infusion products, including facilitating problem resolution as a liaison to Global Technical Service

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or post graduate marketing qualification preferred.
  • 5+ years demonstrated ability working in the medical device, pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a solid understanding of regulatory processes
  • Experience supporting digital products/ systems desired (e.g. hardware and software connectivity, EMR integration, gateway- pump connected environments, etc)
  • Excellent quantitative/qualitative assessment skills with proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent eye for business including broad knowledge, perspective and judgment on business decision making
  • Ability to facilitate and lead cross-functional teams. Strong presentation and oral communication skills.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary range for this position is $96,000 - $132,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
