Reporting to the Regional Marketing Manager, Genesys is looking to hire a Marketing Specialist for the BeNeLux & Alps region based in The Netherlands. The position is created to support the regional marketing and Genesys sales teams with the planning and execution of marketing activities that will further drive sales as well as build the Genesys brand across enterprises, channel partners and ecosystem partners.

Responsibilities include:

Reporting into the regional marketing leader to assist in the execution of field marketing activities for the region including:

  • Lead-generation campaigns, Genesys events, trade shows, industry conferences and external speaking opportunities for enterprise markets;
  • Support budget management and program reporting;
  • Development of long term campaign plans and quarterly marketing plans with business partners;
  • Management of OPEX and supporting the execution of marketing plans of key channel partners;
  • Development and execution of end-user marketing activities;
  • Support of business partners with the provision of marketing materials e.g. campaign materials, graphics, datasheets etc;
  • Utilise partner communications to increase brand awareness of Genesys;
  • Work with cross functional groups in PR, Customer Advocacy and digital marketing on a project basis.

This person will regularly interface with the following people:

  • Regional Marketing Manager and EMEA marketing teams;
  • Regional sales teams, enterprise and channel sales management;
  • Strategic channel partners and SIs;
  • Global marketing programs managers.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • At least 4 years experience in an IT industry;
  • Ideal candidate will have experience in Field and Channel Marketing, preferably in a B2B tier-2 channel model;
  • Experience in the full spectrum of the marketing communications mix;
  • Good personal communication and presentation skills are essential;
  • Experience working in CCAS or SaaS market would be desirable but not essential;
  • Experience from working with campaign management in Salesforce CRM and Wordpress would be desirable but not essential;
  • Fluent knowledge of both English and Dutch.

Profile:

The candidate will be educated to degree level with strong commercial and presentation skills. They will be a self-starter, results oriented, highly motivated with a positive attitude and a good communicator with a proven track record in delivering successful marketing campaigns in an aggressive sales environment. The ability to prioritize activities in support of marketing and sales objectives is essential (must be able to strike the right balance between achieving EMEA marketing objectives and supporting local sales initiatives – this is where experience, confidence and maturity will be most critical).

Regular travel throughout the region will be a requirement of the role with a focus on The Netherlands and Switzerland but could include any other country from the Europe, Middle-East and Africa region.
