This program aims to modernize legacy USAF network infrastructure and migrate services into a new AWS Cloud Environment. Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership:
  • Lead end-to-end IT onboarding projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring all objectives are met within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to achieve project milestones.
  • Subject Matter Expertise:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in IT onboarding processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with IT teams, department heads, and key stakeholders to understand business needs and align on project goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to enhance team productivity and effectiveness.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful execution of IT onboarding projects.
  • Proactively address challenges and obstacles to keep projects on track.
  • Communication:

  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports to leadership, summarizing project progress and outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or IT related field with ten (10) or more years of related professional experience. A Master's Degree and 8+ years of experience or a PhD and 5+ years of experience may be substituted.
  • Must possess an Interim or Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and architecture.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified SCRUM Master (CSM) certifications are required.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
