WHAT TO EXPECT

We look for a position responsible for Import and scheduled orders coordination with all vendors (USA, Brazil, Europe, India, China), providing instructions for shipments coordination with vendors and freight forwarders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor in transit materials.
  • Sponsor of all importation processes. Preparation or reviewer providing guidance of various international shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin.
  • Work with customs broker on documentation in accordance with country's importation laws.
  • Ensure daily follow-ups of the status of importation shipments.
  • Order book maintenance in BPCS and/or Info broker based on Vendors' OTTC.
  • Notify about situations that may impact visibility to internal stakeholders and availability of product to the business unit.
  • Pursue cost and lead time reduction.
  • Work with different areas and Customs Broker updating tax classification of Harmonized Tariff Customs Code in the system.
  • Work with Finance on material cost update as part of the importation process closure. Update BPCS system with process details for correct costing of goods.
  • Coordinate with Logistics and 3PL receipt of goods.
  • Knowledge of Argentine trade regulations, working with Customs and Customs Broker for SIRA's approval and customs clearance realization.
  • International logistics background.

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor - Administration, Supply Chain Management, Foreign Trade.
  • Post Graduation desirable.
  • 2-4 years of experience in supply chain activities, emphasis on Foreign Trade Operations and International Logistics.
  • Clear and effective communication - internal and external considering different hierarchical levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in foreign trade operations and logistics.
  • Knowledge of MRP routines - planning materials with a large number of SKUs.
  • Proven experience on the Customs Clearance process - Argentine rules.
  • Office, emphasis in Excel and Power Point. Desirable knowledge in Power BI, BPCS and/or Infobroker.
  • English spoken and written.
