As a Senior Analyst, you will be expected to leverage your expertise in Azure Synapse, Power BI, and Azure Data Factory to provide insightful analytics and data solutions. Your primary role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines, creating sophisticated BI reports and dashboards, and optimizing data workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Management: Manage and optimize data pipelines using Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory, ensuring data accuracy and availability for business operations.
2. Data Analysis: Analyze complex datasets to extract insights and support decision-making processes.
3. Reporting: Develop and maintain advanced reports, dashboards, and metrics using Power BI.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
5. Optimization: Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for secondary datasets.
6. Compliance: Ensure data handling and processing are compliant with relevant regulations and company policies.
7. Training: Train and mentor junior staff and colleagues on data analysis and visualization tools.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Azure Synapse, Power BI, and Azure Data Factory.
2. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data schemas, and data modeling.
3. Proficiency in SQL and experience with other programming languages such as Python , Spark SQL or PySpark
4. Experience in developing and maintaining ETL processes.
5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data issues.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or relevant certifications would be a plus.
