The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing all logistics involved in the production and distribution of the company’s goods. Coordinate, organize and manage supply and demand planning utilizing the production scheduling function. Ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained as well as managing implementation and continuous improvement of information systems. Proactive management toward comprehensive use of information systems for the planning function is expected.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning production for all product lines while maintaining efficient utilization of plant capacity.
  • Meet delivery dates for sales, expedite merchandise.
  • Inventory control, products, raw materials and resale responsibility.
  • Manage inventory of finished goods and WIP. 
  • Ensure that the production personnel have the necessary resources available
  • Develop reports and forecasts as required
  • Active participant on the S&OP team 
  • Assist the plant manager as requirements dictate
  • Responsible for the accomplishment of objectives set in the areas of safety, quality, customer service, cost control, employee involvement, housekeeping and property conservation
  • Must comply with all Federal, State, Local and Company rules and regulations pertaining to health, safety and environmental issues.
  • Champion FIFO implementation and maintain process.
  • Conduct monthly coaching sessions with direct reports.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • BS in Business Administration, Information Systems, related field or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 10 years applicable industrial experience
  • APICS, ASCM, or DDI Certification
  • Fundamental knowledge of Alkegen, its products, raw materials, manufacturing process and objectives, MRP systems and personal computers
  • Proficient in Adaptive Coaching skills of listening, asking and responding

Compensation:

$90,144 - $120, 192
