Position Summary

Responsible for receiving, verifying, inputting and processing information assigned and requested by supervising manager and/or stakeholders based on agreed and communicated process guidelines. Provide customer service by receiving and responding to adhoc queries and requests on a need basis coming from local HR partners.

Duties and Accountabilities1

In order to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duties listed below. The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skill and ability required for the position.

  • Prepare and distribute W&C benefit information to new hires for US and non-US (IHIP eligible) based on the information obtained from the weekly change report.
  • Responsible for notifying MetLife of all new hires/status changes in order for them to prepare and distribute information kits/cards
  • Responsible for entering data in the HR database – new enrollees, status changes and terminations. Ensure requisite forms are submitted by follow up
  • Update Partner’s life insurance beneficiaries.
  • Coordinate the processing of voluntary Supplemental life insurance applications and Evidence of Insurability forms, answer questions when applicable.
  • Follow up with MetLife to ensure proper distribution of enrollment kits, ID cards for change of status events
  • Coordinate with NY payroll regarding US benefit and IHIP payroll deduction and retroactive deductions.
  • Audit of payroll deductions for people on US payroll
  • Prepare IHIP termination letters based on the information obtained from the Weekly Change report
  • Prepare local billing which includes Firm premium, employee contribution and Firm subsidy information as well as LTD and Life Insurance enrollment. Distribute to all non US office administrators monthly.
  • Run census report for MetLife on a monthly basis
  • Preparation of monthly Partner billing and reconcile related invoices
  • Prepare check requisitions for all Benefits invoices
  • Maintain records and confidentiality procedures in accordance with HIPAA.
  • Handle benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable and courteous resolution
  • Manage and administer local benefits for various jurisdiction

Essential job requirements

  • Previous experience in management of global benefits preferred.
  • Good organization skills with strong attention to detail and follow through on assignments.
  • Should be a team player and be able to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of MS Office products used for analysis and presentation of data, specifically Benefits Portal, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access and MS Visio and
  • Ability to collaborate and actively contribute in a strong team environment, yet able to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
  • Client-focused attitude. Experience providing client service to internal and external clients.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple responsibilities and projects with competing priorities and strict deadlines. Must have the ability to re-prioritize work as required
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the firm.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree required for the position
  • Minimum 1 year general administrative experience.
  • Customer Service skills required for the position
  • Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively with all levels of management

  • This role is based in Manila
  • This role reports to the HROD Manager
