Job Description

The RTS Intercoms Project Sales Manager is responsible for growing the business above market focusing on accounts in India and SAARC region, develops sales strategies and ensures implementation of the business plan for the business segment. The incumbent is expected to increase sales with strong focus on market trends and core verticals like Broadcast, Industry and Entertainment. The person shall also be responsible for promoting and selling Telex Aviation Solutions

  • Actively manage customer relationship in the region with regular customer visits and establish close connect. The person shall be responsible for implementing sales strategy for Intercoms business for India and SAARC region
  • Ensure sales targets by increasing share of wallet with existing customers and identifying/developing additional business opportunities (e.g. cross-sellin
  • Business Development - Ensuring RTS brand is specified/approved/prescribed in all major projects. Creating awareness with key accounts on the existing and new solutions from Intercoms. Should be able to translate end-user requirements into a technical solution and create technical concepts, system designs. The incumbent should be able to prepare and present commercial and technical presentations to direct customers, end customers and consultants.
  • Explore and Expand Intercoms business from parallel segments like Defense, Govt, Industry). Focus on key verticals - Broadcast, Industry and Entertainment.
  • Prepare quotations, documents for technical submissions, compliance statements, be able to address pre-bid/technical queries, and technical and commercial queries from the customers. Proactively drive project sales from incubation to execution.
  • Manage existing channel of system integrators from the broadcast industry and expand it further, explore parallel segments like, Defense, Govt, Industry, Entertainment etc.
  • Training and Support - Be able to provide technical and commercial training to channel partners, provide L2 technical support during installation and commissioning phase of projects. Ensure that all direct partners are trained to provide pre and post sales support and service to end customers
  • Market Insights and Competition Mapping - Regular visits to key system integrators, dealers, contractors and end-users to have a thorough understanding of their operations and requirements. The individual would also be responsible for mapping the competition, understanding the market trends, and be able to identify the key customer requirement, product gaps and possible solutions and opportunities
  • Participation in industry trade shows and events to promote the RTS and Telex brands. Provide marketing support to channel partners.

Administration Requirement

  • Managing the leads and records in CRM tool 
  • Price List Preparation and Maintenance 
  • Address Product Certification Topics 
  • To ensure that the inventory levels are optimally managed in coordination with the logistic and operations team 
  • Maintaining and keeping a track of demo inventory 

Product Knowledge

  • The individual is expected to possess/develop technical know-how of RTS and Telex range of products
  • Should be able to prepare and deliver commercial and technical presentations and conduct webinars for customers
  • Understanding of product range of competing brands would be an additional advantage

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of work experience, with 5 years of experience in a similar capacity from Broadcast Industry. Specific product knowledge of Intercom Solutions and experience is an advantage.
  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in technical domain
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in fluent English
  • Team player with Negotiation and Presentation skills and strong customer focus.
  • Ability to plan, organize and follow through/implement activities to achieve timely, accurate results, focusing on key priorities and effectively juggling multiple projects.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and self-independent attitude towards assigned tasks.
