JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for processing and maintaining all vehicle and accessory master data in all distributors systems. Coordinates with multiple departments and systems to ensure master data is accurate and complete. Assists the Sales Operations Manager and the Distribution Department Manager.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Processes vehicle and accessory master data in all distributors systems including procurement of new and/or revised data, data input, verification of information accuracy, and coordination with various internal and external departments to integrate data into other related systems. Maintaining all vehicle and accessory master data characteristics, variant configurator data, dependencies, and pricing.
  2. Supports coordination of production and distribution system’s requirements with all distributors IT departments including establishment of priorities, testing of results, approval of implementation, and notification to field/regional staff.
  3. Monitors reports and special screens within all distributors’ systems for pricing errors, invoicing problems, incorrect options etc. researches and takes appropriate corrective action as needed.
  4. Coordinates New Model Year Readiness planning across multiple departments.
  5. Assists the Sales Operations Manager in all areas of Sales Operations functions as assigned including fleet administration, product allocation and vehicle ordering.
  6. Assists the Distribution Department Manager in all areas from dealer ordering to delivery of vehicles to their final destination.
  7. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

  • Reports to: Manager, Sales Operations
  • No direct reports

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline, or equivalent directly related work experience
  • Minimum two years’ experience in inventory control and/or database management for automotive OEM
  • SAP /database management experience required

KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of database systems, with focus in inventory control
  • Master Data management

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong SAP skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical and Organizational skills

PHYSICAL STANDARDS

The employee must be able to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer. This is primarily a sedentary position in a controlled office environment which requires only occasional reaching, stooping, and lifting of office files, reports or records, typically weighing 5 lbs. or less.

This is a short-term contract to hire position. We may consider direct placement for exceptionally qualified candidates.

Pay scale for this position is between $60,414 and $75,518. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
