The Client Service and Solutions team has overall accountability for managing the end to end relationship of our local and global clients. We are their primary contact on all Securities Services related matters. We partner with Sales & Product in improving and retaining client relationships, while maintaining a strategic understanding of the client’s operating model and offering effective solutions. We are the escalation contacts for our clients across all Ops and Tech teams – those teams manage day to day client queries while we manage the overall relationship.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Reviews
  • Review the Invoices generated for accuracy and completeness as per the pre-defined client delivery schedule
  • Develop an expertise on range of products offered as well as any client specifics, to ensure that the invoice is in-line with the offering
  • Provide accurate inputs into the Billing Operations team
  • Ensure any changes to client accounts/ products offered are effectively captured into the billing cycle
  • Identify gaps in the Invoicing process and fix them; share thematic analysis for strategic remediation
  • Coordinating Invoice delivery across all products and services (including working with colleagues from Custody, Accounting, Performance, Compliance, and Trading Services)
  • Efficiency
  • Oversee and deliver on operating model optimization – reduction in non-standard client processes, reporting, etc. 
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities that significantly enhance efficiency, quality and client satisfaction
  • Partner with Product Development and Global Initiatives teams to execute strategic enhancements
  • Governance
  • Manage governance of all activities performed by the team and deliver periodic business updates to global and local management
  • Support client facing contacts by providing all root cause explanations for client reviews/queries
  • Prepare MIS and ad-hoc reports for clients as well as for internal partners; liaise with multiple product teams to consolidate the information required for clients
  • Risk and Control
  • Perform functions related to risk and quality control including; entitlements and dormant account reviews, fee billing audits, billing receivables, client onboarding, account closings, standing instructions, etc.
  • People management
  • Manage a team including Associates and Analysts
  • Execute clear path for development of all the resources
  • Ensure high service levels are attained and there is minimal external/internal escalations
  • Collaborate with wider teams across all regions to help manage efficiency through continued automation/ remediation of manual tasks 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • ~8-10 years of overall work experience with ~4-5 years of people management experience
  • Excellent communication skills (presentation, oral and written); role involves extensive coordination with senior internal stakeholders across lines of businesses 
  • Working knowledge on Global Custody and/or Fund Services is a plus
  • Hands-on experience on Skill of the Future for example Alteryx, Tableau etc. and basic programming knowledge on VBA etc. is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving and effective escalation skills required 
  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Project
  • Energetic self-starter with ability to navigate the firm proactively, collaborate and effectively partner with different teams and individuals
  • Strong program management skills, must be organized and able to develop a project plan and break it down into achievable deliverables
  • Strong collaboration skills, able to work with many different individuals and partner effectively with different groups
  • Ability to adapt and demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic environment
  • Compliance mindset with a solid understanding of risks associated with the broad array of services offered

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Relevant Operations, fund accounting or custody background preferred; experience with a custodian, asset management firm, broker/dealer, hedge fund, fund administrator, or other financial markets organizations servicing clients
  • It is understood that the candidate may not have relevant knowledge from previous experience, but the candidate should be highly motivated to gain knowledge across the Securities Services product suite
