Job Description:

  • This position is within the LE Platform team, working on cloudification of host software supporting CSM Products for Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms. This team is closely knit, agile workgroup of Platform developers, Triage and Stability engineers reporting directly to the LE Software Led to drive to closure all issues leading up to commercial launches of our CSM and LE Solutions.

Tasks will include:

  • Development of components on RHEL, Open Shift, and Kubernetes platforms to support customer requirements for CSM Products middleware
  • Software failure triage on the LE/Yocto software stack running on our CSM chipset.
  • Investigation and debugging stability problems that are identified by the test teams.
  • Identifying, verifying, and propagating fixes for the software failures.
  • Working closely with development teams to support the fix process.
  • Working closely with software leads to resolve all software issues gating commercial launches.
  • Supporting teams outside the LE Platform team on all dependencies.
  • Supporting our customers when required to resolve launch-gating issues.

The following will be helpful attributes but are not required:

  • Proven ability and interest in developing on and debugging Kubernetes platforms, Kubernetes operators, and containerized software.
  • Red Hat Open Shift experience strongly preferred. OCP and RHEL platforms.
  • Experience in complex embedded software systems.
  • Strong background in Computer Science and fundamentals of debugging embedded software.
  • Good working knowledge of C, C++ and Java. Go experience preferred.
  • Prior experience with LE/Yocto and/or Qualcomm MSM software platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with git and LE build systems systems is highly desired

  • Degree : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or Information Systems.
