What you’ll do & Who you are

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join Subito’s team. Our mission is to build data-powered services to make Subito a smarter product. 

The Data Scientist will leverage advanced analytics techniques and statistical modelling, collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions to business problems 

YOUR TYPICAL DAY

• Be the pivotal figure in our data-driven product design process
• Dig deep in our data lake and build Machine Learning models to make Subito a smarter product
• Mash up and analyse different data sets, generate high-value insights to support our business (we have some data engineering heroes, so it’s more analysing than mashing up!)
• Formulate hypotheses and design experiments to prove the value of your models in production
• Design clear, automated reports to democratise data access to the whole company

YOUR IDENTIKIT

• 3+ years of experience as Data Scientist
• Highly proficient with Python 
• Hands on experience in designing, training and deploying ML models
• Highly proficient with data extraction tools (SQL, Spark…)
• Experience in applied statistical techniques
• Experience with software development tools (Cloud infrastructure, Git, Docker, …)

NICE TO HAVE

• Data visualization and presentation skills to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner
• Good English proficiency level
• Prior experience in a digital company
• Experience with ML Ops tools (Kubeflow, MLflow, …)
