We provide a highly customer-centric, team-oriented environment and we are seeking a Strategic Publisher Manager to join the Amazon Advertising team in India to help support industry-leading solutions for publishers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to join Amazon’s quickly growing advertising business, play a key role in supporting strategic relationships with publishers, and provide local insights to senior leaders on strategy and adoption of our industry-leading publisher solutions.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with our web and mobile publishers in India in support of leadership goals and directives. Act as key liaison to coordinate communication between local publishers and teams located outside India
  • Support the onboarding of new publisher supply and execution of optimization opportunities identified by leadership
  • Share publisher and overall marketplace feedback and provide local insights on publisher program strategy
  • Employ consultative, long-term approach and build productive relationships with publishers
  • Translate market feedback into product requirements, and collect market intelligence to help guide the overall direction of the program
  • Investigate and work directly with engineers to help publishers troubleshoot issues
  • Analyze performance data and provide data-driven insights to senior leaders across Amazon with an aim to help improve our advertising programs
  • Work with internal teams to guide inventory allocation

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in online advertising in business development or account management
  • At least 3 years of work experience leading partnerships with mobile and / or web publishers or advertisers
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other related fields

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience managing publishers and deep understanding of publisher challenges
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, being comfortable with pulling reports, diving deep into the data and analyzing trends
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively communicate across a broad range of technical and non-technical people
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues with Product Management and Engineering
  • Customer-driven product thinking and ability to identify and prioritize product requests
  • Team player with strong persuasion skills
  • Proven track record of delivering results
  • Knowledge of programmatic advertising space, header bidding, publisher products and SSPs
  • Proactive attitude with excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills
