Software Engineer
Position Location: Philippines
Role Overview
In this role, the Software Engineer is exposed to the entire product stack and works with our globally distributed team on our web platform products. In addition, the Software Engineer is fully engaged (hands on) in the day to day product development activities, gaining the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply analysis to address and recognize solutions for procedural, operational and technical problems.
- Develop fixes, improvements and features using the test driven development process for frontend and backend components.
- Participate in review of code, scripts and configuration changes
- Contribute to Agile SCRUM activities such as daily standup, sprint planning and retrospective meetings
- Actively look for opportunities to enhance standards and improve code quality and development process efficiency as part of sustaining engineering.

- A strong command of modern web technologies including frontend and backend web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, React and Node.js
- Experience with relational and no-sql databases such as PostgesQL and MongoDB
- 3+ years experience in developing Node.js full stack application
- Previous experience in accurately estimating and scoping development work accomplishing goals in a cross functional, multi-cultural team
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies, tools, and defect tracking systems
