Ajax Systems - is an international technological company, most in Europe developer and producer of the systems of safety of Ajax with possibilities of clever house. It is a whole ecosystem from 135 built on, mobile and desktop application, server infrastructure. Every year we demonstrate a multiple increase both in the quantity of command and in an amount users in the whole world. Now there are more than 3 000 workers in a company. And the sensors of Ajax guard 2,5 million users in more than 169 countries of the world.

System Department created and develop OS Malevich (module RTOS for different vehicle platforms) and cloudy service of Ajax Cloud (Java 20 / Kotlin, AWS, Akka, NATS, Kafka, Mongo, MySQL). For a management, service and monitoring of the system by users, installers and engineers of guard companies the worked out additions for iOS (Objective - C, Swift), Android (Java, Kotlin), Windows/of macOS (Python / C, QT, QML).

We’re looking for a Senior Android Developer to join us and continue the evolution of a product that we love: someone who takes pride in their work to ensure that user experience and development quality are superb. You will be able to develop the apps in the best hardware company of Ukraine with around 500k active users around the world. Moreover, very soon you will have a chance to start several new products from scratch.

Required skills:

• Expert in the Android ecosystem
• Familiar with Android SDK: basic concepts like layouts and views, activities and their lifecycle, storing data, collection views and Adapters
• Practical experience with Kotlin Coroutines
• Practical experience with Jetpack Compose
• Familiar with Android Design patterns like MVVM, MVP, MVC
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Experience with ORM, Realm databases
• Experience with different libraries such as Dagger 2, Retrofit2
• Experience in writing unit tests
• Advanced understanding of code versioning tools (Git) and experience with Gradle
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle, OOP principles, design patterns 
• Strong systems/process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Passion for software engineering, learning and continuous improvement.
• Upper-Intermediate English level

Would be a plus:

• Practical experience with video streams
• Experience with TDD technique
• Knowledge of Android NDK
• Experience with MVVM
• Experience with Android architecture components
• Practical experience with Kotlin DSL
• Experience with third-party libraries, APIs (Firebase) and custom frameworks
